Kinanga Nanzao, known by the nickname "Boeing 737," is a guitarist who was a core member of the celebrated Congolese band Empire Bakuba. He was born in Congo-Kinshasa on July 6, 1953. Empire Bakuba, which formed in 1973 and was influential in the soukous genre, counted Kinanga Nanzao among its notable members, alongside singers Pepe Kalle, "Papy Tex" Matolu Dode, and Dilu Dilumona. The band's activity became scarce after Pepe Kalle's death in 1998, though it was never formally disbanded.
