In the Madingo-Kayes village, located in the Republic of Congo
, there lived a young boy named Theo Blaise Kounkou. From the moment he could walk, he was drawn to the beat as the streets were filled with musical rhythms. Tapping his feet to the rhythm of the drums that echoed through the streets was a norm on his childhood. This unleashed his extraordinary gift of music. From a tender age, Theo was drawn to the rhythms of life around him. He would tap his feet to the beat of the rain, hum along with the wind, and mimic the melodies of the birds in the trees. His parents, recognizing his talent, gave him a small drum, and from that day on, Theo's musical journey began.

As he grew older, his passion for music only deepened. He learned to play every instrument he could get his hands on, from the guitar to the piano, and even the traditional drums of his village. He quickly became a village celebrity. With this, his name spread across villages and people from neighboring villages heard about him and soon came in handy to listen to him play.

This fueled his desire for something more. He dreamed of sharing his music with the world, becoming a worldwide musical figure, traveling across the world and enchanting audiences with his melodies. One day, Malick Diop was passing through the village heard about Theo, and sought to listen to him. He went to see  Theo play and was mesmerized by his talent. He saw the spark of greatness in Theo and offered to take him under his wing, teaching him everything he knew about music.

With the guidance of his mentor, Theo's talent flourished even further. He composed beautiful symphonies that spoke to the souls of all who heard them. Years passed, and Theo's fame spread far and wide. He toured the world, sharing his music with people of every culture and background. But no matter where his journey took him, Theo never forgot his humble beginnings in his small village.

Very little is often said about him. Many people take his golden voice for Nyboma Mwadido. The 74year old Theo Bleise Kounkou is of the best vocalists. His unmatched voice is captured in the song Mwana djambala that was released in mid 80's.
